May 19th, Crossing over the Border

Today we headed to the Border but before we left someone came over and said goodbye.

We crossed over at a little after 10am.  After the months of worry it was very nice.  The Customs officer was very polite, asked a few questions including "How long do you think you will be in Canada?"  When I told him 3 or 4 days I thought he would come unglued.  He decided then and there we were (or at least I was) to dumb to smuggle anything in.  Lets see now? Three or four days means 800 miles a day.  It could be done, but all you would see is a blur.

And here we are.

First off we Lots and Lots of Farms, then more orchards, cherries, peaches, apples, & vineyards.

They even have Red barns in Canada.  Imagine that.

What do you know another Red barn..

And they have really a lot of BIG lakes

Really big Lakes

We are Lamplighter CG in Revelstoke, BC and yep, that is snow on the mountain behind her. Probably all we will see on the trip.

And here is another one, all around us.

 Big hills all around.

We decided, due to the traffic we will stay a day here in Revelstroke.  Lots of campers and cars and boats.

See you tomorrow.
