May 20th Second day at Revelstoke

We are a little behind since we left the comfortable Lamplighter CG at Revelstoke, B.C.  In Canada there are few free Wifi connections, so we will show one day at a time & try to catch you up to date.  That is the way we going, little at a time, so this covers our sixth day.  But who's counting?  We had breakfast at a Denny's and off we went.

We did a little exploring while at Revelstoke.
And we found the Columbia River again, but near the headwaters this time.  We drove out to check out a Provincial Park named Martha Creek.   It looked great but was way off the road.
We saw a good bit of the Columbia River.  Here it is backed up behind the Revelstoke Dam.

After a nice drive we explored Revelstoke.  Nice little town.
Yep, that is my dear Bride in the middle of the street.  Looking at some plants (Pauline's note:  plus lovely streetscape planters & features, with that wonderful mountainous backdrop!!).  On both sides of her are the guards to the city gates.

While she was taking pictures I was protecting her from the Guards.
That's me driving the Honda. Got to keep her safe.  Lets see what she wants to do now?
What do you mean, you would rather walk?

So after a little time and miles and miles of walking we went back to the CG to get ready to leave the next day.  (Pauline's comment:  we did find a nice bike trail & walked perhaps a mile......)
