Teslin, Yukon Territory (YT) around June 6th or so.

We left the sign Forest at Watson Lake and headed on up the road toward Teslin, YT.  There were not too many animals this time but a few 'Hills' (the Canadian Rockies) worth showing.  So if you don't want to see beautiful mountains and dusty roads, and Nature scenes just skip this post.  My dear Bride feels that sometimes I show too many pictures.  I reply, "If they don't like them, don't look."  Of course you are looking, aren't you?

the panorama goes on & on & on .  .  .
.  .  .  and the road curves on & on & on too!

Surrounding forests vary considerably:  from tall, lush White Spruce forests, to mixed boreal forests with Aspen, Birches, Alders, some Larches, to pencil thin stands of Black Spruces, depending on elevation and soil types.

If you are tired of looking at these hills, there were other thing happening.  I tried to insert a video but it didn't work.  Maybe my dear Bride will add it to her Facebook.  Here are some photos from it.  This is Rancheria Falls on the Rancheria River where we stopped for lunch and of course a five miles hike (.75 mi.), one way.

Letf side of Falls

Incase you are wondering, the river had an island and the falls were on both side of it.  Very pretty.
But everything on this road was not pretty.
Not a whole lot of room

Yep, drive thru the mud

Then we got about 40 miles of this. Driving on large gravel and dust.  There is another RV in front of us, I think.
Finally there is the Teslin River Bridge.  We pulled over to get out of the dust for a while and to get a picture of the longest steel bridge on the Alcan.
The Lakeshore Campground was just on the other side of the river, so here is another view of the bridge.
Needless to say both the RV and the Honda were dirty, really dirty.  But didn't know what the road was like ahead so we decided to wait until Whitehorse to wash them.

What I am going to show you now is some of the Nature Scenes at the Lakeshore Nature Center.  If you don't like to look at well done nature view of animals you can also skip this part.

Nearly all the photos of the hills were taken by My Dear Bride.  This was done from a moving RV, sometime from a dirty window.  She had to find a spot where there was not a bug.  I think she did a great job.  Tomorrow off to Whitehorse where get to wash the RV and Honda.  Oh Goody!
